The Light Festival is an international, spectacular event, which takes place every year in June around the Old City of Jerusalem. The event presents remarkable artistic light installations, sculptures and video projections on buildings and walls of the Old City and hosts international artists alongside Israeli artists, featuring the best works and drawing a large crowd. During the Festival, visitors are invited to walk along the streets between four quarters of the Old City, each of which is illuminated in a different color (white, red, blue, green) and leads visitors from different sites and works. Along with the Light fixtures, installations and videos there are many other experiences that occur during the festival: designers of lighting fixtures, outdoor performances, and other tourist sites.
