The Docaviv Festival promotes the art of documentary cinema in Israel. The Tel Aviv festival is the apex of the Docaviv Festivals, which occur around Israel since 1988,
promoting documentary filmmakers who have gone through a hard admissions process.
The Festival also provides documentary workshops for youth and aspiring filmmakers, master classes and chances to meet professional film makers.
Held at the Cinematheque, right by our hotels in Tel Aviv.
The International Festival is ten days of screenings featuring approximately 100 of the best recent documentaries made around the world and in Israel.
Tel Aviv Cinematheque is the festival’s main venue. The festival presents films in six separate competitions, including a student competition.
This year will be Docaviv's 20th anniversary in Tel Aviv, so expect cinematic celebrations!
