Abukayak – Jordan River Park - Kayaks and Innertubes
A serene, safe and calming kayak ride, enjoy a ride from the Jordan River Park to the Sea of Galilee. Kayak: Also suitable for children age 4+. NON Challenging. Entrance to the Island of Peace, the Jordanian border crossing, observation point and explanation of Rutenberg’s power plant and return by way of the “Valley Train” path.
The Path of the Dams
An Astounding walking path along the waterfalls of the Yarmuk River to the large lake dam. The JNF lookout point onto the Island of Peace, the power plant and the memorial site in memory of the seven schoolgirls from Beit Shemesh. Gan Garoo – an Australian Park at Kibbutz Nir David
This unique, animal loving, park allows you to visit the Australian wildlife and meet a range of Australian animals in a beautiful landscaped park – kangaroos, koalas, laughing kookaburras and more. The park covers an area of about 12,000 square meters with Australian plants and a waterfall and stream. The Gan Hashlosha (Sachne) restaurant nearby specializes in fish and meat dishes (kosher). The site also has a “living maze” created from bushes and plants, boomerang crafting and throwing demonstrations, totem poles in the Aborigine style, and grassy lawns.

Gan Hashlosha National Park(Sachne)
The park is located around a spring, providing water from deep underground and forms natural pools divided by waterfalls and bridges. The water temperature is 28 degrees year round and is suitable for the entire family to enjoy. The park contains extensive lawns, picnic areas and lush vegetation, as well as water slides and a children’s game area, a Mediterranean and regional museum, a Stockade and Tower site that shows early pioneer life in the region, an ancient flour mill and a self-service meat restaurant. Huga Gardens– Water Park in Nature
A wide-open space and a natural spring that runs through three swimming pools, each a different depth and surrounded by shaded lawns. The park is ideal for families and has mud baths, a shallow kiddie pool, animal nursery, water sports, outdoor challenge facilities, bathrooms and locker rooms.

Yardenit – Baptism Site on the Jordan River
Yardenit is a baptism site for Christian pilgrims on the Jordan River. A palm-lined boulevard leads to the site and has a “Wall of the Communities,” designed by an Armenian artist from Jerusalem, that describes the baptism in several languages. The visitor center’s design was inspired by ancient motifs and has canal of Jordan River water flowing through it.
