Azrieli Observatory, on the forty-ninth floor of the circular tower, overlooks the coastal plain from Hadera in the north to Ashkelon in the south. From the observatory, located at a height of 186 meters, visitors can view Tel Aviv’s development from its beginnings in Neve Tzedek, as the first Hebrew city, to the new neighborhoods being built today. The site is an observatory, tourist site and interactive entertainment center for the entire family. At the entrance to the observatory, visitors are invited to enjoy a new and exciting audio-visual presentation about Tel Aviv’s history, starting from 1908 all the way to its anticipated future (the presentation continues to the year 2085). This unique 3D presentation utilizes one of the most advanced presentation methods in the world and transforms the visit into an unforgettable experience. The Zoological Center incorporates an African Safari with vehicle tours and a zoo with walking tours. The museum is located in Beit Hasofrim (the Writer’s House), the house in which Lechi’s founder, Avraham Stern, was murdered. The roof level houses a reconstruction of Stern’s dwelling during his final days and a memorial hall for fallen Lechi fighters and those who died on the gallows. The second floor offers depictions of the organization’s operations, audio-visual presentations, computerized programs, maps, photographs and more. The museum offers development days for groups, educational activities and enrichment pages.
The Nahum Gutman Museum is situated in Beit Hasofrim (the Writer’s House), a reconstructed historic building. The building was the home of Ha’Poel Ha’Tzair (the Young Worker) Newspaper. The museum presents Nahum Gutman’s works – paintings, drawings and illustrations – depicting the country’s history, and Tel Aviv’s history in particular. The museum also features an interactive children’s corner, a movie about the artist’s life (approximately 20 minutes), a permanent exhibit entitled The Spiritual Life in Neve Tzedek, a bookstore, posters and lithographs.
